COMITÉ D'ACQUISITION
The acquisitions committee comprises 5 to 7 members: the Director of the Regional Contemporary Art Fund (FRAC), and four to six members chosen for their artistic and cultural skills and/or expertise. The visual arts advisers from the State and Region attend the meetings of the acquisitions committee in the role of observers. Every year, members of the acquisitions committee meet to analyse the acquisition proposals and submit their recommendations to the board of directors.
Members are appointed for a renewable three-year term by the board of directors, on the recommendation of the director. As soon as there is a change of management, the acquisitions committee is automatically dissolved.

PROPOSITION D'ACQUISITION
ACQUISITION PROPOSAL
The Technical Committee meets once a year. The 2026 Acquisition Committee will meet in July 2026.
Acquisition proposals will be accepted by FRAC Champagne-Ardenne between 1 February and 30 April 2026.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
Spontaneous applications are reviewed according to the following criteria:
– artistic approach;
– artistic and professional background;
– representation in public and private collections;
– consistency with the FRAC’s artistic project, based on the “poetics of attention”
SUBMISSION PROCEDURES
Only one proposal may be submitted per year, with a limit of three works per artist and two artists per gallery.
Applications must be sent exclusively by digital means to the following address:

CONTENTS OF THE APPLICATION:
Applications must include the following items, submitted in separate PDF files:
- a curriculum vitae;
- a portfolio including the artistic approach;
- the duly completed artist form: fiche_artiste.pdf;
- the duly completed work form: fiche_oeuvre.pdf;
- A selection of up to 5 images per work, including overviews and details (JPEG or PNG, maximum 1 MB per photo).
For audiovisual works, a link to a dedicated platform must be provided. This link may be shared with committee members and must remain accessible for at least one month after the committee period.
To facilitate file transfer, the use of a secure online file transfer platform is recommended. (Please ensure that the files are available for a minimum of one week.)
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Applications that do not meet the following criteria will not be eligible:
- Incomplete applications;
- Applications sent after the deadline;
- Applications with more than three works per artist.
All complete applications will receive an acknowledgement of receipt by email.
