The Migrant Worker’s Fridge Magnet Collection is an installation of 149 magnets collected by Rosalie Schweiker between 2010 and 2016 during her travels to maintain her status as an artist and a decent economic situation. Convivial and political, the work questions the precariousness of the artist’s profession and the ambiguity of economic migration. During the festival, the public is invited to activate this work. Over self-service drinks, everyone is encouraged to share their experiences and perspectives on human migration.
