Offering a review of seven years of acquisitions ahead of a new artistic direction, this exhibition presents works being shown for the first time at FRAC, brought together in an unprecedented dialogue. Through works by Jeremy Shaw and My-Lan Hoang Thuy, for example, who question the boundaries of their respective mediums, or those by Ouassila Arras and Agnes Scherer, who bear witness to personal and situated experiences, this exhibition sketches out a portrait of a fragment of contemporary creation. Throughout, the works address some of the key issues of our time: relations to the media, to work, to heritage and to the narration of identities.
Thus, This Transition Will Never End offers a view of a diverse public collection with a rich history spanning more than forty years.

After Japan in 2023 and Aotearoa New Zealand in 2024, FRAC Champagne Ardenne is teaming up with La Clínica art centre in Oaxaca, Mexico, for this third international edition of Vidéo Club.
The aim of this exchange is to invite visitors to FRAC Champagne Ardenne to discover international artists, while at the same time giving them an opportunity to grasp the social and political realities and epistemologies of the works’ context. This Video Club will also enable La Clínica’s public to discover the works of three artists from the Grand Est region, who will be exhibited there.
VIDEO CLUB MEXICO presents OOOO : Ontologías Oaxaqueñas Orientadas a los Objetos a programme bringing together three video works produced in the state of Oaxaca.
