Project initiated by 23.03, as part of the national initiative C’est mon Patrimoine ! 2025, in partnership with FRAC Champagne-Ardenne.

C’est mon patrimoine ! [It’s my heritage!] is a national programme offering children and their families the opportunity to learn about heritage sites, their history and their collections through artistic activities during extracurricular or after-school hours, contributing to their development and fulfilment through arts and culture.

From July to December 2025, students from Paul Fort Middle School were invited to imagine an exhibition based on the FRAC’s collection, with the help of artists Valéry Pelletier and Ivan Polliart, from the Reims-based association 23.03.

Entitled Panoplie [Panoply], this exhibition originated from a visit to the FRAC’s reserves. On this scorching hot day, the heat imposed a unique perspective on
the discovery of the space and the artworks. Students, artists and educators had to adapt and find different ways to face the day: imagining a range of strategies, as possibilities and means of action in the face of a restrictive situation.

This physical experience became the starting point for a series of observations, videos, drawings and sculptures based on works from the collection that offer possibilities and means of transformation, protection and even survival.

The exhibition presented at the FRAC Champagne-Ardenne recounts this adventure. A lively scenography made up of combinations, spontaneous gestures and shared discoveries unfolds, in dialogue with the works from the FRAC’s collection, which have nourished the young people’s artistic journey.

Founded in Reims in 2005, 23.03 is an association and collective that develops artistic exchange projects between artists, audiences and partner organisations. Each year, the association conducts residencies and exhibitions, inviting French and international artists.
